and specifically, has anyone ridden a 2014 one.

Is 10mm shorter chainstays likely to matter?

The shorter chainstays won't do much other than to make it acceptable to people who think the chainstays used to be too long. Everyone I know who has one or has had one thinks they're lovely. One of my mates is on his third or fourth. As an LBS owner who can have pretty much whatever he wants, that's not a bad recommendation.

I run 1 half link tf make sure the rear wheel is as tucked as possible.
Comfy, great for all day rides. I have an older 18" at 5'11.5 with a 90mm stem.
Much faster than it should be for a rigid ss but not as popable/loony as my Solaris

Love mine , rigid and has been rohloff as and currently about to be build up 2x9 for the winter.
Boss also has one afte riding mine. We have shipped one to France for a friend after he tried my bosses one

Even used it with some drop bars for honc

Its one of the few don't think I will sell
