Gendarme knocked that hay bail over into the road. Then just looked at it, helpfully

Shame WvA went back just before Rog down. If both Rog and Vinnegard (sp?) had both lost minutes already, they may have said to WvA, sod it, go for it...

Pog just looks so comfy whatever he is doing, looked great at Strade Bianche and Flanders, nothing seems to faze him.

Are any of the Ineos GC boys still in the main group? Can only make out Van Baarle who doesn't seem to have G on his wheel anymore.

Pog should ride Roubaix, he's ripping them a new one over the cobbles!

Pog is amazing, but there is just something that feels wrong about it all

Part of me thinks it's been a corker of a stage, but with no JV competition, then it will be a one man GC show again, and rest of race won't be as exciting

Yep, you can't help but feel pog will be in yellow from now until Paris, unless he has a crash

WvA did a hell of a job getting back to being so close to Pog, must have burnt a lot of matches doing that whilst Pog looks like he has been for a pleasant bimble in the french countryside

I don't think pog looks that fresh, there are going to be a lot of burnt people today. Tomorrow should be quieter

Vingegaard only 21s down on Pogacar, not catastrophic.

I thought the time gaps would be increasing by minutes not seconds.
What a stage

It's over for rog. No way he can make up 2 minutes unless pog has an issue, vingegaard is the leader now. Lets see how close he is to pog on friday, but it looks like its only going one way from here on.

Rog has dislocated shoulder! That must have stung on the cobbles...

in which case it must have been quite a decision to drop 3 men back to pull him in.  I guess that means they think he is good to be able to pull back time but I can't see how

vingegaard is the leader now.

It'll be interesting to see how he goes against Pog now he doesn't have to consider anyone else in the team (well except WvA!).

I think Pog was lucky there, also is it just me or is Roglic really shit at bike handling? I know he came from ski racing or something but seems to struggle with keeping rubber side down?

I expect the thinking is that it's still good to have him as a potential threat to Pog for later in the race even if the threat is much reduced. Last thing they would have wanted is Pog only having to think about Vingegaard.

If you must swap bikes with a teammate, don’t ride for the national team of the tallest nation on earth 🤣. Sitting on the top tube is a DQ, unless you can’t reach the saddle. What a stage.

WvA was magnificent. I winced as he almost rode into the back of the car. Yea I’d lose my handling mojo after that too. I think the others rode their luck (or lack of).

I can’t help feeling gutted by that result for the sake of the rest of the race. Not a fan of Pog and he’s likely to gain more time on Friday’s stage.

Well the last couple of stages have been quite lively.

I was surprised how little time Vingy had lost by the end. He'll definitely have to attack in the mountains now and hopefully we'll see some fireworks.

That minute or so of bike-swapping really needed Yakety Sax dubbed onto it, hilarious.

Without his various tribulations WVA would have probably beaten Pog and maybe even been the stage winner. Awesome performance.
