Sepp Kuss using a 56/43 chainset and 10-33 cassette.
WvA going very well! He's stayed on his TT bike throughout.

Yates second fastest at the first time check, only 1 second off the fastest. He's REALLY improved

Pog looks fabulously smooth uphill on the aerobars. Ving is riding it like a climber. Some monster large rear cogs on those TT bikes!

How is it possible that those 2 are seemingly so far above the others?

When vingegard went past a timing screen it came up with 26 second lead.

Just heard on the commentary that it is 24 seconds

Jonas 30s up with 10km to go? Jesus. He was absolutely smashing it on the downhill though, just sitting at 70km/h. I can barely manage that down a 10% gradient!

I can’t comprehend going round those corners at 70kph on the extensions..

come on pog, get your finger out!!

Bike change for Pogacar on the climb. Cunningly marked by a Slovenian flag.

You shouldn't get a running shove up the road for a voluntary bike change on a TT...

45 seconds is a hell of a lot to make up on this climb

Bit of a sluggish bike change. At least he didn't do a casual Geriant Thomas style helmet change too.

At this rate, it'll be what....best part of 90 seconds gain to Ving?! Crazy in a 22km TT

If the time swing is that big then pog is going to have to go nuts tomorrow if he can

Shame they aren't going at 1 min intervals, he'd be making the catch.

1'05" up on Pogacar!
Pogacar looks resigned to his fate at this stage.

Surely that's the tour wrapped up now unless there are heroics tomorrow.

Well looks like my interpretation of the data behind the misleading statistics was right - Vinnegaard is head and shoulders today.

what a ride from vinnegaard though.

Pog has looked tired most of this tour tbh - or perhaps im confusing tiredness for weary of the Dane hunting him down.

suspect Pog will smash it tomorrow in a no guts no glory climb if not to win but to recover face over today.

oh me - possibly within viewing distance of pog . didnt imagine that would be how far.......

So..

In 22 km he’s put in nearly two min to pog, who himself is miles up on the rest of the field…

..🤔

The Clinic has gone into meltdown! The watts/kg will be ridiculous (about 7.5), but when you are only 59 kg and need 450 Watts, it doesn't sound quite so mad.
