In Canada. As soon as I realized who was rambling the mute button was pressed... where can I find a knowledgeable text feed on the web to back up the pictures?

Sweaman, try here:

In Hong Kong, we have Sean Kelly. He was undoubtedly a fantastic bike rider, and he is now just as undoubtedly a bleedin' awful commentator!

This is brilliant !

ALl I'd have asked for is dry weather, a barking mad longshot from Jens (and a sprint win for Cav - though a lone win by Jens would be even better IMO now even if there's no chance)

Fingers crossed for either

One thing I just cant get my head round is this obsession with filming on a mobile phone?

Wait hours for the riders to come past and then not actually see it because you are peering through a phone screen ??!

Mobile is just about OK but put the f'in Ipads away! Holding up an A4 bit of paper for the memories..

This is brilliant !

Surely there is nothing more to add?

World's best riders.

Amazing roads.

Great crowds.

Great weather.

Jens off the front.

Does it get any better than this? Oh yes, Cav for yellow in Harrogate. Think that's a tall order unfortunately but it would be nice.

That annoying moment when itv and eurosport's ad breaks sync, so you can't just flick between the two for unbroken coverage.

Gonna be some big time differences before the race gets to France at this rate. Then they hit the cobbles. Interesting 3 weeks ahead.

We are watching in Asia on Eurosport and have Carlton Kirby and Sean Kelly. Wonder why the different countries that take an English language feed use different commentators?

Tragic for Cav. would've been magic if he'd taken yellow

Cav caused the accident leaning on him

Definitely Cav's fault.

Hope not but doesn't look good. Don't think it was really anbody's fault just a racing accident

I don't see the bone sticking out but holding it like it's broken for sure.

Cav has a shoving problem just like Suarez's biting problem!

I know that pose well, hopefully just banged it hard.

It was when he leaned the other way that it went tits. Rubbing's racing

Hes in trouble judging by the way he was holding it. Something's broken.

im afraid he caused it looking at the replays

Yep, not his first. Fine or disqualification ahoy regardless of the outcome of the x-ray.

The ITV team reckoned Cav was defending his line like anyone else would.

Never solely Cav's fault.

Hmm.. looking at the super slow mo from above and behind again, the Europcar(?) - green - rider coming up the outside looked like he leant into Gerrans, which then seemed to unsettle Gerrans. Obviously Gerrans and Cav were leaning on each other trying to get Sagan's wheel, but it just looked like the guy on the outside broke their balance.*

I guess it goes with the territory but what an absolute gutter.

*But I'm no expert...

Opqs.... have used their men up to quick in the past... today they didn't use them up quick enough.

Fab is a God but how has he been able to get the jump on them ... they had 5 men still to use with 1k to go??

I definitely wouldn't say it was Cav's fault - it was either do what he did, or brake and lose (and probably take out people behind him). Just a racing incident.

It did look very nasty, not expecting him to ride tomorrow. Terrible.

Great sprint by Sagan though, thought he was going to have it. Also Froome sprinting to get 6th - crazy.

not sure that he caused it. looked to me like he and gerrans were squeezing each other out and they tangled and went down. not exactly unheard of in a finish line sprint. be pleasantly surprised if he takes any further part in the tour though.

From what I saw Cav was boxed in and tried moving Gerrans out of his way. Gerrans stood his ground until the Europacar rider joined the equation. Gerrans goes down and Cav is off balance so down he goes too.

I was hoping to watch him in the Commonwealth Games (if was planning on racing it). Looks like that could be blown

Cav was going for sagans wheel , sagan went right to shake cav ,gerrans wanted his wheel and went to close the door on cav to follow sagan because he was ahead of cav, cav held his line and sped up ,they leaned on each other, argy bargy and down . No ones real fault all part of the sprint.
