Santa Cruz have brought out some new carbon frames. Price wise they look good but probably won't have many benefits over the alloy frames.
I was surprised to see they have left the head angle at around 70 degrees though. I thought they'd have taken the opportunity to make the angle a bit slacker.
Why would they leave the angle at 70? Is it a necessary characteristic of 29ers?

According to my SC dealer LBS.. they're the bike design experts, so why would the (slack angled loving) public know better than them. ๐ฏ
I went 'yep' and went and bought a slack 29er from another company..
[edit]PS: it does seem a bit silly considering the rest of the range.
