I'm about to service a set of 2010 reba's. Are these seals better than stock - there seems to be mixed opinion on the web....

We'll see,..fitted some to my F29's a couple of months ago and after a short bedding in period they now feel lovely, there's an extra seal that sits on top of the foam rings under the wiper seal that seems to stop any crud getting into the bushings, you still have to do a lowers service regularly though,..
As I said,..we'll see...

if you install them right - then they are great. But if you have any grit in the oil or fork legs you'll knacker your stanchions as the grit sctraches them from inside of the fork. They are much tighter than the standard seals so are much better at keeping the crap out.

i installed some on my Rebas a year ago and i've not had a problem with them.

Sounds positive so far. Think I'll give them a shot.
