[#3852557]

I need to bleed by Magura Julie brakes on the commuter.
I've got the barb, hose and fluid, but need a syringe or 2.
Anyone know where to get these cheap??

I'm guessing 100ml capacity.

50/60 mls is the biggest you'll get, I reckon.

Anything bigger will be too unwieldy and not very common.

There are plenty on ebay, which is where I got mine.

The one I use is about 75ml, from a kitchen shop - you use it to inject jam into doughnuts etc. Only a couple of quid.

I got all sorts of questions when I tried to buy one from a pharmacy. Got one from Countrywide stores, apparently horsey types administer medicine.

I got a couple from my local pharmacy last week, a quid for two, but they where quite small 5cc, just right for setting the fluid level in my forks though (cut the end to the right length and suck out any excess fluid).

Vets have the larger capacity ones. I got a couple in exchange for a pack of biscuits ๐Ÿ™‚

vets or your friendly local nurse can get them from the hospital / surgery, although they'll say they don't have any.... Odd, if I wanted some to jack up, I'd be able to get them for free!

Ah I was wondering why my syringes weren't lasting with dot4! What are you using for Avid brakes then?
