MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Looking to make the move to 27.5" on the front (keeping 26" rear) of my 601 and, being very happy with the rest of the Syntace kit, am looking at the 35 and 40 M/MX wheels.
Has anyone seen any deals?
Also, anyone tried both the M and the MX? Lots of money could be saved by going for the M over the MX.
There's about 160g's bewteen the 2 which would be a nice saving.
Any input would be great..ta -)
I've got W35 Ms in 29 guise and I love them. Beautifully made, plenty wide and a decent weight. Haven't given them a proper Alpine outing yet, but they've stayed nice and true despite some poor line choices and low pressures. They tubeless up lovely and the bearing pre-load adjust is nice so you can make them spin for days.
I'm thinking about swapping out the ratchet set for an MX 36 tooth one since 20 is perhaps a little slow to engage. The nice thing is all the parts are readily available.
Bargain wheelsets here for 29 or 26, but that's not much use to you.

Thanks Woodster. I did spot those deals, typically no 27.5".
Might save a bit of cash and go for the normal 'M' front (can do 20mm too and the MX only seems to be 15mm) and an MX rear to get the better engagement.
