Have put some new Sids on my latest build and have them at 120mm but i'm not exactly blown away just now. They feel very hard. I have let air out and have much less than the recommended pressure. Is it just because i've been used to the plushness of my 150mm revs, do forks take time to bed in, or do i just need to keep playing with settings?

They'll take time to bed in. Give it 20 miles or so and see. I've always ran forks a little softer than usual until they've settled in.

I found RS forks take a couple rides to bed in and soften up. Ignore the the air pressure on the chart just put whatever gets you the correct sag.

but the SID will never feel quite as plush as the Rev as it has less travel. My U-turn Revs don't feel as plush in their 120mm setting as they do in their 150mm setting. The SID is designed for XC and the rebound and compression circuits are probably valved a little differently too? but that's just a guess
