So rode swinley today.... Wet, slipery and gritty. To those riding the enduro tomorrow, have fun and enjoy......
Now for a minor rant..... What is the issue with people not saying thanks when you move out of the way on a trail? I passed 12 people on seagul today and only one person said thanks. Now surley common courtesy isnt dead? Please?
Rant over....
Cheers

No. most of them gave me the look of "what are you doing on MY trail?" (swinley really was like the M1 on a friday night today... Busy!) I always give way to those going down hill when i'm going up, as was the case today.... Isnt that the correct way? Am I expecting too much of my fellow bikers? It may be only a small rant but I feel that saying thanks or cheers or a nod when you've got out of the way of those going down hill is only a small thing but a fairly important one. Imho

If it was me about 2:30, in a yellow gore top on a white Heckler, it will be because I was f@@@@d, and could barely cycle, let alone exchange pleasantries!!!!

Wet??? Hardly, considering.

Slippy?? Back wheel span once, pinged about 6 inches off one root in 34km!!!

Gritty?? Well, it is sandy soil, isn't it!!

I always thought those coming downhill should give way to those coming up...easier for those coming down to briefly move off their line. ๐Ÿ˜•
