A friend has bought some Roval carbon mtb wheels with an xd driver. It has a 36t star ratchet.
He wants to swap the xd freehub for a shimano compatible one. Does he just need to buy the freehub. Its a boost hub. Does this make any difference?
A link to what he should buy would help him greatly.

I recently swapped an 11 speed Shimano freehub for a 12 speed microspline one on these hubs.
One just pulls off and the other pushes on.
Everything you need is in the bag it comes in or it was in my case.

What is his rear axle type.
The hub body will come with a new end cap as they are different.
