Hi there,
I hope you all can help (first time asking a question by the way).
I have a Specialized Epic Evo and I have recently taken off the Avid Elixir brakes that originally came with the bike to replace them with a new set of Shimano SLX brakes. Foolish me - I thought it would be straightforward - can of worms as usual!!! Using the existing bolts and spacers the SLX callipers sit way too high over the rotor. I realise I probably need smaller spacers but how do I work out what size I need and where do I get some from?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Mike
Get rid of the conical spacers if the rotor is 160 out 180, but elixir ones are usually 160 or 185
