Looking into riding options for next weekend. Facebook just reminded me that this time last year, I had a blinder of a day on Fremington Edge. Whats it like at the moment?
We were out there last weekend (not yesterday, the one before). Did Fremington Edge, Gunnerside Gill then back to the DBC. It was pretty slidey but mostly in a fun way, and it looks like a fairly decent week weatherwise so it might even dry up a bit.

We were there on Saturday and it wasn't bad at all.
Some standing water where it collects and a bit greasy in places but good anyway

It's pretty all weather on the main routes even in 'bad' conditions. And it's starting to dry out in the Dales now anyway. So should be pretty decent regardless, although the standard Fremmy Edge, Hurst, Pinseat etc route is not one for a strong westerly day!
