I think big calves might be associated with/a symptom of pedalling with a low cadence, but i'm not 100% on that.
This thread has made me feel better about what I thought were wrens lower legs - cheers!

I bet he didn't get his male pattern baldness hormones on the NHS..
14.75" but they look bigger because my ankles are quite skinny at 8".
About 17.5" measures with a lanyard and a rules. Yes they do get commented on, even by cyclists and I can actually brush the front mech with them sometimes as well.
16" @ 6'1" and 95kg
i'm quite happy with 15".

Rather catty little comment there.
Some kind of jealousy or something going on there by any chance? I suspect so.
17", plenty for me ๐
Well, packing 18.5" under my desk... 8) Thanks to the headphone method

LOL!! you wish.. I was just poking a bit of fun at your awesomeness while clumsily trying to shoehorn in a gender re-assignment gag.. no offence meant buster.. ๐
By far the funniest thing Ive read, got this image of loads of bloke with there trousers rolled up in their offices/work place with all sorts of things wrapped around there legs.....LOL
to please Bigface0_0 i've done jsut that:
rolled up my jeans, wrapped a USB phone charger cable around my calf, then measured it on a purple ruler i had to dig around in the drawers for.
17"
i'm not sure what that means, if its good or bad or what, but there it is.
17" Calf
26" Thigh
*cough* Waist
17" using very dubious measuring technique involving paper towels in the toilet.
15.5 with a 34" waist

About 17 using a headphone lead.
Are we comparing winkles next?
18.5"/47cm
There's a guy on my shift who's a Highland games champion hammer thrower. The calf (singular) on him is ๐ฏ He's a big lad but the bigger calf must be 25-50% bigger than his other (which is big enough in the first place!)
He's the shift freak show! We take great delight on showing him off to other shifts.
I'm sure there's a photo of him and one of the 'less muscular' shift members calf flexing beside one another. Comedy! ๐

Didn't you just wrap your old fellow twice around your calf and estimate it that way? ๐
Shirley its how hard you can get them and not the size that counts?
thats what she said!

18.5" after approximately 4 years of next to no exercise/cycling. I'm sure an inch of that is fat if I'm honest!
So what's the definition and tone then? ...alright having big claves, but no tone or muscle defiinition means nowt ๐
A puny 14" here. Half the circumference of my waist, which sounds fairly impressive actually.
I've just had a cast taken off and was so shocked at the state of my leg that I had to measure it: I broke my ankle four weeks ago and in that time the calf has gone from a skinny (but cycling/running fit) 14" to a mere 12" and all the muscle tone has gone! It looks really weird. Fortunately I'm now in a light-touch removable boot so I can start exercising it and hopefully speed the return to normal....
Only 23 inches here
