Itching to ride the mtb this weekend but if it is as wet as I imagine it might be I'll probably opt for taking the road bike out instead.

Anyone been over there today and could advise?

Was over on Leith today. All running pretty good, sludgy in places but most of the trails holding up ok. Donnie Darko running pretty well considering. Not sure about Pitch or Winterfold but they are usually more puddly.

Just returned from Pitch and Winterfold. Quite mucky, surprised how quickly the trails have turned. I suppose there has been a lot of rain.

Seemed extremely busy out today.

Really!
I've been there today, and alright it was a bit dirty and splashy in places but it was hardly muddy enough to mention!

Mud has returned. Was gritty/grinding mud last ride I did. No reason not to ride in it though. That's the great thing about Surrey Hills is it's always changing trail conditions with the weather ๐Ÿ˜€

Though stick to Holmbury if you want dryer trails.

Thanks again guys. Jim - you're obviously made of much sterner stuff than me - but you're right, I'm obviously a fool for asking.

Is it ok if you become my new hero?
