I had a spin on Coastkid's ECR at last weekend's Forth Fat. The event was the best one yet, the spin on the ECR a revelation.
I quite fancy building one up rather than an off the shelf model, I want to go with an 8 speed Alfine.
I looks like the ECR frame didn't make the price cut that other Surly products did last month. The RRP on their frames looks steep, are there any better deals out there?
Winstanleys can be VERY hit and miss when it comes to actually being able to get stock in at the advertised price, but...

Thanks guys, they were sub £500 last year. I think I'll play a waiting game until they come down a little more.
