It's going to be snowed off isn't it?
Does anyone have any ideas for rides in that area that are a) worth the two hour drive from Manchester and b) minimal risk of death?

CyB isn't far from the Cadair area. Can't comment on risk of death, would expect that there will be some snow. TBH if the snow is as bad as the Met office make out, it'd be a PITA getting there & back!
Weather forecast for there look fine from my warm office. 😀 If you want relative safety do what he^^^ said and go to CyB or the trail centres near Betws. But would agree if the weather goes mental then it'll be getting there that's the problem. We've ridden that area lots in snowy conditions - ploughed through snow drifts round the Marin last year - whey hey - but probably best to stay off the tops if you are not sure.
Looking at the forecast for The Lakes, it looks like that will be a better bet all round, especially as I know the area, so we're more likely to get up some mountains.
Is it looking like getting in and out of Wales might be difficult with the weather?
