i'm looking at picking up a new wheelset & have seen some on superstar that take my fancy. i'm just looking for some user reviews on these hubs first though, as i've had a BB in the past that lasted all of 3 rides and don't want to end up in a similar position.

so...are they sealed well? freehub longevity? anything else?

cheers!

I got front and rears on Tech2 wheelset they were doing for £99 a while back. Bought them in Feb, have used them in the Lakes and Surrey on a hardtail built up as s/speed in winter and geared for summer.

I'm impressed. The finish is good, they're still spinning smoothly Freehub engages fine with no slipping and the sealing looks more than adequate to me. I like noisy freehubs but the Superstar hub has a more subtle sound like a shimano, but functionally I couldn't ask for more for the money.
