Are the sintered disc pads any good on SC?

When will they ever get the 9mm QR in stock......! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sintered pads have been fine for me (on two bikes) for about two years now.

havent tried their sintered pads but the organic ones made my shimano branded ones feel like 1980's canti brakes!!! (ok maybe a slight exageration but i was v impressed)

Their kevlar pads are pretty awesome. As good/better as anything much more expensive I've used.

I was one of the masses that experienced that 'first' (aka, every set for about a year) of pads that disintegrated after a short time but every experience I've had with SS since (pads, centrelock adaptors etc) has been excellent.

been using sintered pads for a year now - they are simply excellent, easily the best ones I have used, and by far the best value.

Not used any other SSC stuff, but a mate has some of the superleggera wheels, and seems to like them.....

Just changed my supertstar sintrered pads on my Formula Oro's last week, they were virtually down to the backing plate. Realised that I've had them on for about a year. I did follow the proving method to the letter though.

Sintered are good, Kevlar ones bite more and seem to be lasting ok.

If I was fruit then I'd be sat in a warehouse full of bike parts in Lincoln living the dream of owning a bike company but alas, I'm not. I'm sat in an office in Cheshire selling my soul to the IT business.

their lock-on grips are real nice too especially for a tenner in lovely anodised red. in fact, everything ive had from this company has been spot on and they dont bat an eyelid when idiots like me order the wrong bits they just quickly and efficiently change them without extra postage. . . . sounds like i work for them reading this back but i do like to recommend when i get good service
