Was anyone watching? There was a section on a scrimper family where the guy had used a section of guttering on his bike as a mudguard on the downtube to save a few pounds.

It struck me as odd that the bike he put it on looked very much like a carbon fibre stumpjumper fsr!

I just watched it on 4oD, yes it is a carbon stumpy fsr by the look of it.

'Couldn't you have just bought a mudguard?' she asks, he then goes on to talk about how mudguards are much more expensive than making his own LOL, 'couldn't you have just bought a much cheaper hardtail instead of than highly expensive skills compensator?' I'd have asked.
