Hi,
I've had an annoying creaking under pedal load on my SC Superlight. I've checked chainset, pedals etc so decided that maybe a pivot bearing change was in order.
I expected the bearings to be a interference fit, but both sides came out really easily and the new ones could be pushed back in by hand should I be worried? They weren't loose in the frame, just not tight and the swingarm seems pretty solid and moves smoothly.
Thanks
Needless to say the annoying creak is still there ๐

Hi had the same creaking on my trek fuel ex 6. I thought greasing the bearings would sort it to no avail.
What I found after a basic clean and oil it that it was the seat post. After a light coating the creaking has disappeared!
Hope this is helpful!
