Here is my new Superlight 29er.. small frame (so fits me !).
Its about a week old, ridden a few times now and really enjoying it, has 100mm forks but I think will be perfect with 120mm forks. Comes in around 27lbs without trying too hard with kit. SLX brakes, old XT cranks, Crest wheels, X9 shifters/mech etc and some chunky Kore flat bars.

Massive thanks to 18bikes who given the order a week last Monday had it ready for my holiday by Thursday that week..even when Jungle said they were only releasing the first batch for full bikes.. cheers chaps.

Nice. You sure you want the bars another 20mm higher with a 120mm fork? Lovely bike though.

What's it like on techy corners/tight turns/switch stuff? I am only asking as I have thought about getting one as I like the big wheels on my commuter and like the idea but then I went round my local woods with a mate who had one at at slow speed, twisty, techy stuff the little wheels were the difference between walking and riding. On straight stuff he did blow me away but then that is not what I go biking for.

I suppose most trail centres and bridleways are not that techy or twisty so it is not much of a problem even though the tightness of the turns may have been built with a 26 inch wheel in mind for trail centres.

I've got 10mm spacers under stem at moment, but have flat bars on with a slight riser stem. So scope to move.

I've only ridden it on some trails around Purbek last week. Besides stopping as I was getting lost, it was pretty nice on the twisty trails by the golf course... I have a Blur TRc aswell, and to be honest, I felt the superlight wasn't that much differnt to me on the single track as the TRc. I did get a bit unsure on steep rocky stuff compared to TRc but I was really pleasently suprised. The bike climbs really really well, especially on steep techy stuff and was great at covering distance comfortably on farm tracks etc.

Set the Side Switch (slider) to Lock Rotation (in settings/general) - maximise the picture then slide to lock to view.
