Went round Kentmere and Longsleddale today and its the driest I can remember it being. Sections that were boggy are bone dry and it's bloody fantastic! ๐Ÿ˜›

High Street will be probably about as dry as it's going to get. If it's clear you get fantastic views. There are better routes in terms of pure riding quality imo but it's a great day out.

Not done much in N Lakes to be honest but Lonscale Fell and the Spoony Green Lane dh into Keswick are great fun.

Grumm

Not sure where you are heading in Keilder but FC website lists diversions and closures for the deadwater trail this weekend - might be worth checking before you head off?

Andy_hew - I wouldn't worry too much about diversions. I guess they're for the Avalanche Enduro but the new Red trail is opening this weekend - should be plenty to ride :).

Bring on the racing!!
