So £370 without cranks - guessing you'll be able to pick it up cheaper though. How does that compare to the GX Eagle?

They'll have to revise their prices to make it competitive.

With BC discount the GX is just over £300 - bargain!

the gx is reduced from an RRP of £424 though.. the sunrace is only £370 at RRP...

The sunrace stuff could possibly less than £300 once the big shops get hold of it..

the 11speed Sunrace cassette for example has an RRP of £100ish and can be had for £65 online..

I make the sunrace £405 (unless I missed a bundle deal)

mech £190

shifter £60

cassette £120

chain £35

as said, it would have be heavily reduced to be considered over Sram

I'd missed the chain off when I added it up!

£65 for the cassette is good - would be worth buying the GX bundle and the SR cassette and flogging the SRAM one if you have Shimano freehubs - cheaper than changing the freehub.

I do not believe rear mech is officialy out and available for the average pedal pusher.

At least that's what Sunrace Europe told me week ago...

Cheers!

I.

Can't you just use an existing 11 speed Shimano mech to make it a lot cheaper?

So looking at this Sunrace x12

and it seems there an MS version at £203 and the flasher (eg ti spring) MZ at £308. no cranks with either so comparing MS version to Shimano XT x 11 for the budget I have
