Just to let you all know I've done the decent thing and brought an end to the rain by fitting a rear mud guard today. From now on dry dusty trails everywhere.

On that note, I picked up a rear mudguard from Halfords as I was passing on my commute with a wet backside. It must be about the 4th I've had of various types and at £15 a go it's painful to see them snap off a week later, what brands and types are recommended. I have a crud catcher on the front and my original rear guard was the same but also snapped off.

just spent 7 days in Highlands of Scotland and had about 1hr of rain, otherwise it was nice and sunny, dunno what everyone is moaning about

higgo has a point, with luck I'll snap said mudgaurd while testing out my new BB next week and then the ashes will be ours
