I have two sdg bel air saddles that are both looking a bit tired has anyone had their's recovered?
If so by who?
no mine is less than 12 months old & is very uncomfy ,the saddle is still intact but it has twisted at the nose & is saggy
It's probably not worth the hassle. Difficult to find materials, and you could probably get a new saddle for less. Unless you can find someone who does car upholstery or something and would have a go for fun. My last two I-Beam Bel Air FX's I got for £49 with a post, so pretty cheap. I've got an old Ti-railed cow patterned Bel Air that's rather shabby, but I really can't imagine it being cost effective to get it recovered, sadly.

I got a new SDG Bel Air with the black rails off Merlin for £19.95 about 2 months back.

CaptainMainwaring did that have the fabric (kevlar) side panels?
No, just bog standard. But if you look at the Merlin website they have the other models at pretty good prices. I just wanted straight black so went with the cheapest
