I'm looking for a small, neat, bar-mounted front light for the summer roadbike. I have various Solar Storm/Magic Shine lights with battery packs, but I'm after something decent for that last hour of evening rides.
There seem to be some good deals on Leyzene lights on CRC but they get mixed reviews, can anyone point me in the direction of a good one?
(Don't want to spend more than 30 quid...)
Do you need it to see or be seen?
Bit of both really... It's not for off-road stuff, just that final bit of rides around dusk or if the pub stop drags on longer than usual!
Something with an hour or so of descent light on continuous beam would do the job.
It's got to look neat though - I have a general rule that I don't put lights on my race bike, but I'm prepared to swallow my pride for something that befits the bike it will adorn... I'm sick of dragging the winter pig iron round while all my club mates have started using their summer bikes!!
If I didn't already have a gloworm X1, I'd be looking at buying a gloworm CX.
I have a gloworm, very good quality light... The CX looks great, but overkill (and over spend!) for what I'm after...
I was thinking more along the lines of this for £25...

The reviews all seem a bit mixed on CRC/Wiggle so after so sensible real-world advice... 🙂
Thanks Bregante, that looks pretty good but as someone mentions on the thread, there are brighter lights in a similar price bracket...
Cateye volt 300 or 400
I keep looking at the Magicshine MJ900.
