After a maliciously windy ride round Allermuir this afternoon, I am seeking inspiration for other good Pentlands descents. What's the general consensus on the best downhills in the area? Points awarded for length, speed, jumpiness and gnargnar.

not saying but it needs to be really dry to ride and definitely not lambing season.

From the very top down to the top of the Ski slope is a larf. Not the longest, but a steep little bugger with twisty singletrack. Over did it one summer and ended up removing skin from both wrists, knee, shoulder and forearm. Ground was so dry it was like sliding down cheese grater...
