It's also crap unless you do 3 laps at speed.

Think we should stick to dark peak and ride/walk a route.

Right i am going to try and make this by driving back from liverpool on friday, ride in the morning and head back to liverpool sat night and back to sheff on sunday lets hope the snake is open by then! , if i do i'll be on either a grey 5spot or white genesis alptitude both of which are bound to suffer mechanicals at some point.

Robdob - Pitch Pro
Will - SS Tricross
Podge - Specialized Rockhopper (black)
Skiprat - On One Scandal
MarkB - Chameleon (cream)
stilltortoise - Whyte 46, or Bianchi fully rigid if we really are walking
sambob - merida matts 50-d
ourkidsam - 456 in THAT blue

I can also confirm Pook's chain ring bolts are definitely pink.

define rideable?

I did it in march last year and it was alright. Especially after the snow, I'd give it a good while yet ..

IF I come, dependant on whether I can sort transport and how much snow is pedicted to be there, I'll probably bring my (Black/faun) Stumpjumper FSR

Sure girls would love to turn up to that...

Also. For the record I can't ride a Unicycle, have tried, but just can't.

I estimate 18 riders. Whoever is closest gets a pint at the end bought for them?

Have to go out so haven't got time to read the whole thread, so 2 questions.
1) Where exactly is the meeting point?

2) What time?

Please.

I may also bring cake type food.

I think I'm riding with a mate on Saturday, but if not, may come along. I was on the last ride, the one from Ladybower, Pace RC405.

I can wear a jersey with my name on the back. It's not the one I use on here though so probably won't help

Well its my first outing on the 456 on the Peaks. I miss my Blur4x already but Im sick of the grit in the bearings etc ๐Ÿ™
(It feels like Im going out on the town in my sweatpants and a ripped tshirt) instead of my finery...

Will are you out on the CX again?

Dudes - I see or at least I think it's my user name is down for this by default or is 'steelforreal' an imposter !!??

Any road, I can't make this 'event', much as I would enjoy showing Hora his old frame built up & ridden (sorry, pushed) in anger !

Chris, you're right in thinking that my default setting would be to come along but I'm going to have to blob. Have a good one and I hope everyones got your phone number so you don't get left behind and Lyons is going to actually bring a bike that is both built and working !

steel4real- at last. You've finally built it? ๐Ÿ˜†

I'm jsut back from driving over the tops of Saddleworth etc. Its clearing very well bearing in mind up there gets some serious weather over winter (and temp drops).

Put my name down too. Not been to the Peaks in a long time so a gentle ride / push sounds like a plan.

mmm. Full susser just in case it is clear, or nice light bike for pushing and carrying duties (with no suspension)? I will be debating this until tomorrow morning. I may even bring both and debate it in the layby ๐Ÿ˜†
