It was the perfect type of ride to get out on if you haven't done much lately. MrCM was out on his singlespeed and just set off before everyone else, getting to the top somewhere middling to rear of the pack!! Plenty of rest/stretch/food stops too ๐Ÿ™‚

SFB - great photos, as per usual! Can't believe you stayed up so late to get them finished! Well done on the name retention skills by the way.......I'll add a couple later ;-D

MrCM was out on his singlespeed

ah, that's your old man eh ? Presumably he has a given name, and does not merely serve as an acolyte to the goddess ? Moreover, he is legally allowed to check out your arse whenever he likes ๐Ÿ™‚ I hadn't noticed he was singlespeeding!

Ton, singlehandedly keeping the bike industry out of recession once again!

Wasn't Reeth mentioned as venue for the next ride, or did I leave too early on Sunday to hear any final descision.

I heard all manner of thing mentioned but Reeth did stick in my mind.

Also, there was some confusion as to the date. Deejay was going to consult the oracle and let us know I think.

All a bit up in the air really.

Oh and the Northern Chapter rides are 1 year old next month.

There WAS mention of revisiting the abandoned Kirkby Stephen ride, but maybe that would be more fun in the "summer" when things have dried out a bit!!!

Out on bikes last night - still enjoying chatting with the guys about Sunday, and how much fun it was to have a really chilled sociable ride ๐Ÿ˜€

I did laff at the bottom of "Rock and Roll" as he hurtled towards the fence shouting "my brakes do nothing!!"

I'm hardly a standard for speed - I'm too busy looking for trees, rocks, clouds, mountains, reflections and contrasts, and the faster you go the less you see ๐Ÿ™‚

28th Feb would be exactly 1 year - and happens to be my Sun off ๐Ÿ˜†
