I'll try and make it Tony. Weekend after I'm getting battered, I mean night riding at Dalby so getting a pass might be a problem. I'll do some persuading!

You;ll need to drive, not much in the way of trains near Lee quarry

Long as I've got the new bike built by then, I'd be up for that. Not been to either Lee or Cragg yet.

I'm going to try and make it to this one. Just to check though, do I need a bike with a chain, or can I do without?

these rides are usually no more that 20/25 miles mate.
but they are steady and no one gets left behind, cos i ride at the back kicking people up the bum to keep em going...... ๐Ÿ˜‰

As Ton's ticker has gone wonky again are people still interested in doing this - if so I will happily lead it
Given the time of year it will probably wind up as a sort of mirror image turbine ride with both (or maybe more)quarries as part of it

I'm still in. If it's going to be sort of a Turbine ride, are we still starting from the same place, or in Ramsbottom near the Brewery ? ( just a thought ! )

Start at the same place ie futures park to go through the quarries and upto the tops from this side may venture to rammy depending on time
would be nice to go from the brewery (can do a ride from there in the future if people want even tho its been done a couple of times) but we can retire to my local afterwards which is pretty good on the beer front

i'm tempted though I have a poor accident/visit ratio which has put me off going in the past!

i thought the point of the ride though was that it was the routes *around* the quarries, rather than the quarries themselves?
