I'm in but only on the promise of seeing a real live Bonty in it's steely flesh...

Elliptic, will the pace be suitable for Ise?

Steve, given recent indications of his form I'm sure it will be ๐Ÿ˜‰ usually pretty much like Thursday night pace.

It would appear I've officially secured my Sunday pass. ๐Ÿ˜›

This year I will be riding fat bike on account of fitness issues... ๐Ÿ™

I assume someone will be official photographer?

I made this last Sunday (Magic Trail) with my new camera. I'm still working out how to use it.

[Apologies for giggling like a ninny]

This Sunday weather look OK according to Met Office.

You can bet it won't be quite that dry this sunday! Riding the majority of the planned route this evening, so more reportage later.

Rode pretty much most of this weekends route tonight just to clear any dead fall and make sure all the tight, nadgery singletrack is still so.
We are still on for sunday and those expecting an uplift i'm sorry to say there is more chance of my backside healing up.

See y'all sunday.

I should point out that Candodave doesn't actually eat so, you never know...

๐Ÿ˜›

All trails ran well yesterday. Muddy enough to be fun, firm enough to be good rolling and plenty of traction.

I can make it, hopefully there will not be too much rain during the night as I'm still running Crossmarks.
See you in the morning.

I enjoyed that - it was good to ride some different trails and meet some new people. I think we were lucky with the weather as it was still raining once I got to the Airport and looked like it had been drizzling all day in Bristol.
I'm not sure if can remember all the cheeky stuff though, if someone could send me a Garmin file that would be great.

Normally I'd track with Endomondo, but today, I forgot/couldn't be arsed. I'm not sure if anyone did track it...

Good to meet you cheers_drive. Hopefully we've given you an idea of whats out there. Follow your nose!

Drizzly autumn Mendip morning
[img] [/img]

First secret singletrack of the day. This ride was exactly 9.09% nichetastic (Ti 29-er rigid singlespeed content)
[img] [/img]

Wears his Shipham race jersey with pride... and faster than his dad already ๐Ÿ˜‰ sorry Steve!
[img] [/img]

Dave (route planner / evil genius)
[img] [/img]

30 seconds later I realised my front tire was flat. Inevitable really, having looked out of the window at 8am, thought "this isn't a day for Larsens" and stuck the winter tires on with tubes in to save faffing around with sealant...
[img] [/img]

Even deeper into the woods
[img] [/img]

Too quick for the camera
[img] [/img]

Over the top of Wavering Down... still drizzling. Didn't stop to take any photos going down Slot Cars from here as I was giggling too much, slinging the bike from one wall of the rut to the other... mental amounts of fun ๐Ÿ™‚
[img] [/img]

SceienceOfficer and Candodavid
[img] [/img]

Don't think I've actually seen him on a bike with gears before...
[img] [/img]

Rich... enjoying himself by the look of it
[img] [/img]

There's always one...
[img] [/img]

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
[img] [/img]

Great ride thanks to everyone ๐Ÿ˜€ Especially the chap that gave me the gel at the top of the last climb as I started to become a gibbering mess ๐Ÿ˜†

Will have to return the favour when you come to visit S. Wales!
