Will double check and come along if that's ok ๐
Yep! sounds good
Looks good ๐ Might be along if I clear it with my good lady ๐
@Cando, no probs.
I'm in but only on the promise of seeing a real live Bonty in it's steely flesh...
Elliptic, will the pace be suitable for Ise?
Steve, given recent indications of his form I'm sure it will be ๐ usually pretty much like Thursday night pace.
it might not be fast but will be technical, with a jot of secret thrown in for good measure
Bump
I'm out, unfortunately - work getting in the way. ๐
Hope ye have a good 'un.
It would appear I've officially secured my Sunday pass. ๐
This year I will be riding fat bike on account of fitness issues... ๐
I assume someone will be official photographer?
I made this last Sunday (Magic Trail) with my new camera. I'm still working out how to use it.
[Apologies for giggling like a ninny]
This Sunday weather look OK according to Met Office.
love looking up your nostrils at the end ๐
Will be able to come along as long as get enough work done tomorrow 0930 for 10 am, yes?
love looking up your nostrils at the end
Err yeah sorry about that. I'd better think about getting some editing software.
You can bet it won't be quite that dry this sunday! Riding the majority of the planned route this evening, so more reportage later.
Excellent, can you factor in a uplift too please, touch unfit at the mo ๐
Is this tomorrow? 8th Oct?
I've been ill this week and I can't come now, if it is ๐
Sunday 9th innit?
I won't be coming either, becuase I feel all post-viral and bleugh.
Rode pretty much most of this weekends route tonight just to clear any dead fall and make sure all the tight, nadgery singletrack is still so.
We are still on for sunday and those expecting an uplift i'm sorry to say there is more chance of my backside healing up.
See y'all sunday.
I should point out that Candodave doesn't actually eat so, you never know...
๐
All trails ran well yesterday. Muddy enough to be fun, firm enough to be good rolling and plenty of traction.
I can make it, hopefully there will not be too much rain during the night as I'm still running Crossmarks.
See you in the morning.
Almost finished a good faffest to get all kit sorted, so ready for an early start tomorrow, see you there.
๐
Excellent. Faffage fully finished here
Just got in; I'm gong to faff in the morning!
I enjoyed that - it was good to ride some different trails and meet some new people. I think we were lucky with the weather as it was still raining once I got to the Airport and looked like it had been drizzling all day in Bristol.
I'm not sure if can remember all the cheeky stuff though, if someone could send me a Garmin file that would be great.
Normally I'd track with Endomondo, but today, I forgot/couldn't be arsed. I'm not sure if anyone did track it...
Good to meet you cheers_drive. Hopefully we've given you an idea of whats out there. Follow your nose!
Pics? where are the pics?

First secret singletrack of the day. This ride was exactly 9.09% nichetastic (Ti 29-er rigid singlespeed content)

Wears his Shipham race jersey with pride... and faster than his dad already ๐ sorry Steve!

30 seconds later I realised my front tire was flat. Inevitable really, having looked out of the window at 8am, thought "this isn't a day for Larsens" and stuck the winter tires on with tubes in to save faffing around with sealant...

Even deeper into the woods

Too quick for the camera

Over the top of Wavering Down... still drizzling. Didn't stop to take any photos going down Slot Cars from here as I was giggling too much, slinging the bike from one wall of the rut to the other... mental amounts of fun ๐

Don't think I've actually seen him on a bike with gears before...

Great ride thanks to everyone ๐ Especially the chap that gave me the gel at the top of the last climb as I started to become a gibbering mess ๐
Will have to return the favour when you come to visit S. Wales!
Especially the chap that gave me the gel at the top of the last climb as I started to become a gibbering mess
