Just wanna ride.
Something I do miss is riding with Jambo, always felt at my fastest when cruising the tox with you.
I sense D'moor will be visited alot in 2013..

Quantock mission is in order when the waters recede.

But TJ and Elfin are gone...

and unlike you there lifetime ban actually meant a life time ban ๐Ÿ˜‰

I would ride with anyone from here tbh - would be keener with some than others though.

As Mark said in a thread this week - sometimes accounts get banned for life, and very rarely people get banned for life. It would appear that me as a person has not been banned for life.

I'm the same in person as I am on here. It's just the context is different.

I would really like to enjoy a chilled-out ride with the poor sickly folk on here - Bunnyhop, ton, grum, plus others I've forgotton due to my constant brain fog.

No pressure to keep up, stopping at lots of tea shops, empathy and understanding, giggles too. ๐Ÿ™‚

Let's hope for a healthier 2013!

As has been said, we don't ban IP addresses as that's clumsy and results in collateral damage. We ban accounts (very rarely people) If duplicate accounts are reported to us or we spot them then we act. If anyone starts a new account while banned then we ban the account and extend the original ban. But we can only do that if we are made aware of them.

I'd be honoured to ride with anyone.............as it is, I'd have to say that I'd be happy for anyone to wait for me every couple of miles. ๐Ÿ˜

does not make sense to me

if your account is banned and you return then the ban remains but you are not banned as a person

seems the trick is to start the other account before the ban - then again you cannot have two accounts ๐Ÿ˜•

not cleared it up for me tbh

Cheers for the link - for clarity I am not suggesting you should be banned

JY - To clear up my situation - I tend to ask for my accounts to be banned when all people do is slate everything I post. So yes I have many bans, but the vast majority of them are ones that I specifically asked for. Once I think people will have had time to cool down, or in the case of my current login I have a very good reason to start a new account I do that.

Northwind always seems to offer advice that I find myself agreeing with, both on here and Bike Radar, so I'd like to ride with him!

I enjoyed the Surrey Hills ride we did a couple of years ago, so if it ever dries out I'd like to organise another one!

I've met the best that this forum holds. I've ridden with some of them. I'd rather move to another continent than ride with most of the rest on here.

I've never met any of you personally I don't think. Sherwood pines is my local haunt (as you can't call Newark a haunt as far as MTB goes) so I may have shared a "mornin'" or "evenin'" with one or two of you.

so, CG, grum, paulosoxo, bunnyhop and anyone else who is interested, if someone were to organise a STW slow folk and invalids ride/weekend, at a centralish location (peaks or long mynd), hopefully there would be some interest.
a weekend of tea/cake scoffing, ale sipping and gentle pootling?

I'm in! ๐Ÿ˜€ Live dahn Sarth but am working hard on my anxiety attacks so should be able to travel oop North.

We'll need regular 'drug breaks' and I may have to bring a trailer for my stash. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Spring or Summer would be brilliant. 8)

I may be up for that as I've not, knowingly, ridden with any of the STW massif.

I find most of them beyond odd and they have mountain bikes.

To not have a mountain bike and repeatedly post on a mountain biking forum shows you possibly have a gap in your life that you should perhaps fill with something else.

to those interested, in the new year i will look into sorting somewhere to stay for a night or two, to have a STW social meet/ride.
the emphasis will be based on social.

so any idea's of a location are welcome.

Ton - thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚ I don't do discomfort so that means no camping or bunkhouses. Will happily sort out my accommodation once location has been decided.
