Anyone do better than this? * cough * clearly if I put on a bit of weight now it will be pure muscle as I get into my "September of Pure Biking" month and will have nothing to do with the fact that I am now free to eat carrot cake and crispy duck pancakes ๐Ÿ™‚

i'm more suprised to see that at just under 5'9 you can be 8st 12 and still be ideal weight for a man. Think if i lost a stone and a half i would disappear

I'm 5"7 and 8.5 stone, and I wouldn't say I'm the ideal weight, so I can agree with you there.

Congratualtions ๐Ÿ™‚

Care to explain how you did it? How much riding did you do, how much food were you eating, is it a sustainable weight loss etc?

Cheers

DO NOT READ THE FOLLOWING IF SENSITIVE

Yes - One month before going to Peru, i.e. start of June I had to cut out coffee, alcohol, refined sugar, and red meat. In Peru I was in the rainforest and had one month of no exercise, plus a daily diet of

Morning meal typically eggs, rice, chips, fried wild boar, fried wild deer, bit of chicken

Lunchtime
Bit of veg, plantin, apple, rice, chips

Dinner
Ayahuasca plus one month of vomitting and at least week of projectile diahrreoa.

The preparation of ayahuasca looks something like this

Add in the mix two days of not eating due to a fermented rogue yukka plant drink whereby ladies in the village make the drink by chewing the yukka then spitting out.

In Cusco I had 4 days of only partaking of a cactus drink (San Pedro) (I wont describe the consistency) and soup and bread in the evening.

I did reward myself in Cusco with the second greatest warm chocolate pudding in the world:

I am now on a 3 month diet of no beef, pork, chillies, ice, or any cold drinks such as cold beer. Chocolate, red wine and some coffee is allowed.

But I should probably add that my teacher constantly reminded me that "you have to suffer to learn". Quantocks ticks! Try a month of mentalist mosquitos for a month. ๐Ÿ™‚

But yeah, these last two months have given me some of the greatest days I have ever witnessed, plus some profound lessons, and some much needed deep peace I have been striving for.
