[Closed] Stupid Question of the day - Can you mix XT front mech with Sram shifter

As per the title

I'm having problems fitting an SRAM X7 front mech to my TRANCE frame.

Because of the design of the mech and the welds on the shock mount, I cant fit the mech high enough to clear the outside ring.

So I was wondering if I can fit an XT front mech and use it with my existing X7 Shifters.

Anyone else had the same problems or can think of an solution
