Spray a bit of wd-40 into the splined grooves, leave to soak in, tap off carefully from behind with long screw driver & hammer?

2 chain whips, one going one way one going the other to pull it off of the cassette splines which it's possibly cut into

Hope Pro II? (seems slightly excessive for a commute but you never know)
Either way try tapping the cassette anticlockwise with a mallet, to knock it out of any gouges it's made on the freehub body. Alternatively get a piece of wood and smack it from behind (through the spokes)

As 29er said, sometimes the casette digs into the splines, you'll need to contra-rotate it slightly wrt the freewheel body to get it off. A mallet worked for my silly road wheels on which the problem occurred.
