The app had updated and when you view a segment there is a little star to the bottom right of the map. Sometimes it has numbers next to it. Any idea what it means?

you can add it to your starred segments.

Thanks, so the number next to the star tells me how many people have marked it as a starred section? Don't use starred sections so not sure what that does for you.
