Try changing the Feed from "following" to "me".
Same problem for me. Also noted on the review section on the appstore

You're on the 'Following' feed, not 'Me' feed. Seems like they're pushing for it to become more of a social network, used to be the 'Me' was the default.
Just updated mine and it's working fine although I'm on Android so could be an iPhone version issue?

Still no satellite view on anything. Don't understand why it's not there on iOS like it is on android.
It works fine on my iPhone 4S, I preferred the old view though 😐

I'm in no rush to upgrade to the new version.
It's jumped in size from 9MB to 19MB and I don't have that much spare space on my phone!
