my reverb has been ok, but then it wouldnt go down, had it serviced by lbs and tested it on the floor before taking it away.
put it in the frame and the b****r wont go down.
thinking the clamp might be too tight, but no.
it turns out the reverb wont go down unless im pressing down on the front of the seat as opposed to square on or a little back, which is a pain as my seat is a back on the rails. so now i have to shift forward a little to force the nose of the saddle to get the reverb to go down.
anyone else noticed this, or not realised this is why reverb woint go down

Sounds like the topcap bushings are worn, mine did the same but I had to sit on the back of the saddle or wiggle to get it going down.

You can get a polymer bushing that's supposed to last a lot longer. I know rebound suspension in horwich do them. Gonna get mine changed at its next service

Take it back to shop if it's just been serviced, or get them to send to fishers.

Sent mine to TFT for service, got the call that it needs x,y,z to repair.....not cost effective to fix. Can you send to fishers for them to inspect? All fixed under warranty.

I've just serviced mine after it had some play which was causing it to be hard to depress initially.

I bought a new top cap and the basic service kit which contains the lower bush and it's back to working smoothly again now. Cost about £45 in parts.

Did you need any special tools to service it yourself?
