Some jakey numpty stole my girlfriend's prize Scott Contessa today from outside her work.
If anybody catches a wiff or sees one for sale please reply, as this is a matter of great distress, made worse by the fact that we are heading to the Alps for 2 weeks this weekend and now she has no bike......
I wouldn't mind but I had just finished installing my latest prototype 'Dry bum technology' (patent pending). This consisted of a cut-out of a Lilt bottle stapled to the undercarriage of the seat, used to block up the 'special Ladies front-bottom expansion gap'. My device was designed to minimise discomfort (and moaning) on the wet Scottish trails.

Where about in Edinburgh was it nicked?
Keep your eye on Gumtree and the cash converter shops - would be worth a hike round them during the week perhaps.

Thanks,, nicked from Edinburgh University Old College building, near south bridge. It was locked with a decent lock... Hopefully insurance will cover it...nightmare though.
Already tried cahs converters there, I'll scout around during the week. What are the chances of it showing up before the weekend trip? Slim I guess.

It's a Scott Contessa 20 2007 model, silver, medium size. Only upgrade was a Hope silver seat clamp (2009) and a yellow bell!!!
