Going though my spares I found this again (off a friend, who used it as an excuse to go AXS), can you get Inner and outer cages at a reasonable price? Both were bent by a stick/mech incident and bashed into a reasonable shape trail side to get him home, so they will not be being bent back into shape again
For an older non T or AXS, 12 speed X01 speed mech. Finding lots of inner I'm pretty sure I found a complete 'upgrade' replacement set, when last I looked... that cost more than a new mech. My GX is looking decided tired, so thought I might try to get this one fixed.
Can you use the lower cage plates from the gx on the x01?
No idea but I would assume something that easy (& cheap) is not going to work... TBH I need to change the jockey wheel bearing on my GX, so will check.

Cheers for the option, but a quick google suggest that the same price as a new GX mech 🤣 (the X01 is well used)
I've now compared my GX with the X01 mech and the outerplate look exactly the same, the inner being different. Can I locate a GX one now...
