10 speed rear shifter, when shifting from large cog to small it just release all the cable at once. Anyone had this problem? Is taking apart the worst idea ever?
Any help appreciated!

I took my X7 shifter apart, for a different problem though. Seemed to come apart easily, and as long as you're careful not to dislodge or lose any of the small parts, then you should be OK - assuming you're out of warranty and have nothing to lose.

Piss easy to take appart. All these components are designed to be user-serviceable... Go on YouTube...
