I think it may finally be time, after over 4,000 miles, to replace the mech on my Pinnacle Arkose (2015 model, the one with the bar end shifter).

I've always been a Shimano user, so I don't know much about SRAM kit. It currently has an X7 MTB 10 speed mech. I'm happy to stick with the same gearing (it's flat here) but there's a bewildering choice of SRAM mechs. What do I need to look for? I can't find the same in stock anywhere.

Do we still need to bump for visibility?

Pretty sure you need to look out for the term 'Exact Actuation' on any mech you buy.

SRAM used it for MTB and Road 10 speed and Road 11 speed, it used a 1.3-1 cable pull ratio.

You should still be able to find X5/X7/X9 Mechs in that flavour, I'd stick to MTB mechs if you've got an 11-32 or bigger cassette. just to be sure you'll have sufficient reach.

See how it says "EXACT ACTUATION" on the cage? that's what you're looking for...

Nice one, thank you. I'll do some googling later on...
