I've searched for an answer for this and have found conflicting reports.
Anyone actually running 11 speed GX mech and cassette with a 12 speed shifter?
I "believe" the pull ratio is the same.
I'm thinking of changing from Eagle back to 11 speed and already have a 11 speed GX cassette and mech.

IN the back of my mind from a fb fatbike thread eagle to gx 11 with the appropriate shifter change, works...
I wonder if gx 11 to gx 12 with the shifter change works too... I think the mech cage is longer on gx 12 ...
My LBS said to me they have mix and matched like this for people with SRAM 11/12 speed and it's worked fine-I think there is a very slight difference in cog spacing but maybe not enough to matter that much.
Not quite what you asked buy I run a GX Eagle mech with an 11 speed shifter and Hope 10-48 cassette. Works a treat.
Only complaints are GX mech build quality is like the old X9 (rubbish) and there's a tonne of play already. Had to replace the 14t jockey wheel also due to the crap v1 design by SRAM which cause the chain to jam.
I want to run an 11 speed gx mech with a 12 speed eagle shifter.
I don't really need a 50t cassette and I think I'm going to struggle with the length and quality of a GX 12 speed mech.
