So I regularly bleed shimano and hope brakes but ever since a few failed bleed attempts on avids over a decade ago I haven’t attempted bleeding avid/SRAM again
My sons bike needs doing and LBS are charging £20 per brake to bleed so thinking about buying a bleed kit and giving it a go myself
How difficult is a sram bleed nowadays with the bleeding edge system?

Easy.
Two syringes, posh and pull a few times and it’s done.
I’ve never had an issue with them.

Use the epic bleed solution bleeding edge kit, and it's fine. The caliper bleeding edge syringe isn't v tight, but with a bit of care its fine and a quick job.
Seems easier than Shimano tbh
