Sanity check for me please!
If I have a Guide RE front, but want to run it as a rear, am I right in thinking that I can buy this and just poach the hose?

This seems to suggest I can: https://www.sram.com/en/service/articles/SRAM-Brake-Hose-Overview
Nobody? Booooo.
I think SRAM to SRAM is ok, you need to look for the red connectamajig versus the non as they have different barbs but they are easy enough to swap
Think you need to check the caliper end - that's the bit you can't change - ie if it has banjo or straight connector
Guide RE use a Code Caliper which uses a Banjo fitting, those Levels don’t use a banjo.
There's also two different banjo types, the Guide caliper is a different banjo to the Code and Guide RE (also Code) calipers.
Actually… I might be talking rubbish, as it’s the older style Code caliper it might use the double compression type fitting rather than a banjo.
Thanks All.
@phil5556 - is that definitely the case? I thought they were previous gen (eg non bleeding edge) with a straight connection?

Edit: jinx! 😀
I went off to check after I wrote the edit…
Looks like a compression fitting 👍

There is a banjo, but it’s between the 2 halves of the caliper so it’s not (easily) removable I think!
