Hi,
My fixy has developed a squeak, it sounds like its coming from the internal frame almost like a frame under stress or strain around the pedal, chain area.
It’s a aluminium frame with carbon folks, the noise seems to appear when I cycle only (not when i'm pushing)
With limited bike knowledge I thought it could be a bearing, a crack somewhere........
Any thoughts & advice would be appreciated please.
Thanks,
Hops
bottom bracket is probably knackered
Which leg of your sister's jeans have you rolled up?
Isn't there and iphone app to help fix this?
You should be able to find your iphone somewhere in you overpriced satchel...
Have you tried taking the bottom bracket out, cleaning and regreasing the threads then putting it back in?
Do you only get the sound when sat on the saddle? 8)

Genius.
I will try cleaning the bottom bracket as suggested, thanks.
There's no need for rolled up jeans when cycling in a skirt is perfectly acceptable- pockets too for iphones on days when the over priced satchel doesn't match the skirt! Try it!
I ride fixed for my daily commute, but definitely don't fit the whole 'hipster' sh*t - however today a proper, pure blood hipster rocked up at the traffic lights. So skinny I couldn't tell if it was a bloke or a chick, even tighter jeans, rolled up, small d-lock tucked into the back of his belt, messenger bag - the ****in works.

Running in heels is difficult, isn't it?
Assuming horizontal slot dropouts, check your track nuts are tight.
Sounds like the bb or crank bb interface.
Or maybe your knees.
