[Closed] Squeaky chain - advice for a wax newby

I used Molten Speed Wax for my chain and it's been great, however after a wet ride at Lee Quarry where it got covered in thin gritty mud it now squeaks all the time. Sounds like an old rusty BSO when pedalling along now ๐Ÿ™

When I feel the chain it seems very loose (ie flexes very easily) but isn't rough at all. Feels like it's lube-free but is running like it's lubed nicely, if that makes any sense.

Have I washed all the wax out? It's only done maybe 50 miles since being waxed from new.
Is this normal for wax lubes?
Maybe it's the jockey wheels squeaking - can I lube them with a drip of oil or do I need to take them apart? I think they're bushings not bearings (Shimano SLX)

With putoline wax I've had anywhere from 60km (two horrendously wet mtb rides) to over 500km on the road bike.

If it sounds squeaky then it might need a reapplication. A squirt of gt85 on the jockey wheels won't hurt either.

The main drawback for wax lubes in general for me is that they can be a bit unpredictable, Putoline in particular appears to last many short muddy rides but can go completely AWOL on the first day of a multi-day trip!

I think they work best after a few applications anyway, first applications of Putoline never seem to last well for me but subsequent applications can last ages.
