I'm finally back on knobblys after a couple
Of years with only a road bike. I like sportives so was wondering if there is anything like that for mtb's, I've seen the grizedale grizzly but there's a lot of road involved.
Is a enduro event like a sportive?
Cheers
Evans and wiggle both do MTB events. There's a thread on their relative merits somewhere.
I'm doing the Evans Reading one next week.
Isle of Mann end to end is a good event, forces you to make a little mini holiday of it too
West Drayton MBC do a 130km ish one - Bucks off road sportive. Great loop.
Scott mtb marathon might be a good one too. Run by my local bike shop.
You've just missed the Selkirk MTB marathon run by Durty Events. Have a look at stuff organised by No Fuss Events as well.

+1 for the Scott mtb marathon series. I did the one at Builth Wells a few weeks ago and it was a very good, well organised event. I'll be back for the Ruthin one later in the year.
Dyfi Enduro (last weekend), Heaven Of The South (this weekend coming), Sam Houghton Challenge (mid June).
This is a great list:-
