So about a year or two ago I was searching for the bike of my youth, a rather crappy & cheap to buy at the time DP freestyler BMX frame, IIRC I paid £70 for frame & forks back in 1984, forward a couple of decades & things have changed, a lot!

So anyway I ended up buying a Burner reproduction instead, but I still want the real thing & I have always have had a search saved on ebay, but the prices are still heading north, a lot!

So will/have MTB frames go mental in the same way as BMX has gone, or do you think it is just adults that have got to a certain age & have a fair amount of disposable income that want to buy there boyhood dream & MTB would skip that?

I'm interested for a few reasons, not least because of the bike above, but I also have a couple of ground breaking MTB frames that I was considering selling but would be happy to keep in the loft if the prices will just keep appreciating.

Cheers.
